We’ve been hearing of some wonderful local groups and authorities offering a bit of extra resource to help you bring your community together.
Small grants of up to £100 to support local Great Get Together activities and events are available to people across the Bradford district.
Deadline: Friday 31st May at 5pm
Grants of up to £500 are now available for resident groups and community organisations wanting to run a community lunch, barbecue, picnic, or coffee morning on the weekend of 21-23 or 28-30 June and 5-7 July.
Deadline: Tuesday 11 June
Hammersmith and Fulham
Hammersmith and Fulham are offering small grants this summer, to organise picnics, street parties, lunches, sporting events, fun days and other community activities with and for their neighbours.
Grants will usually be in the range of £50 – £200 but get in touch if you would like to discuss something bigger.
You will know if you’ve been successful in your application 14 days after you apply – so get in there soon!
Haringey Council have 19 pots of £200 that can be applied for to help facilitate a community event. This funding is open to a group or an individual organising activity that will benefit their local neighbourhood.
Deadline: Friday 31 May
Inveclyde council is offering funding up to a maximum of £350 to community groups and individuals planning events as part of the great get together.

Residents of Tower Hamlets have a variety of different small grants available to them all year round.
Nottingham Together are offering grants of up to £250 to people holding Get Togethers in the area this year.
