The annual community festival that attracted 12,000 people in 2019 returned for a fourth year, but this time it brought people together virtually as a wireless weekend, on radio and online.

The nine-hour community radio Get Together included celebrity contributions from Olympic medallist Tom Daley, Mumford & Sons star Ben Lovett and BBC Radio 4’s Martha Kearney who interviewed a local bee keeper on the day, as well a virtual bake-off and even a virtual dog show.

"The whole spirit of Jo Cox lives on in the Great Get Together and it's a perfect way to illustrate the power of community!”

– Olympic diver Tom Daley, Bankside resident
