In partnership with virtual venue SocialEyes, we are excited to present our first-ever Festival of Connection. The Great Winter Get Together will culminate in this day-long event of free, cheerful festivities that are sure to boost moods and foster connection. 

 

We know this winter has brought unique and heightened challenges at what is already a very difficult time of year. So, on Monday, 18 January (a day baselessly known by many as ‘Blue Monday’), we want to reclaim the day and face loneliness together through virtual heart-warming and interactive activities:

 

08:30 - ‘80s Exercise Class with Kim Leadbeater

Kickstart your Monday with an invigorating early morning ‘80s exercise class led by our Ambassador and Jo Cox’s sister, Kim Leadbeater - full of groovy tunes, sweat-busting moves and lots of laughs.

10:30 - Singing Masterclass with Tim Mahendran

Calling all budding thespians... West End star Tim Mahendran will be offering his wisdom and top tips for elevating your abilities in this interactive singing masterclass. Broadway, here you come!

11:00 - Beatboxing Masterclass with Grace Savage

Renowned 4-time UK Beatboxing champion Grace Savage will be hosting a masterclass beatboxing session, where you'll be introduced to some of the basics and get a taste of her insane musical talent

12:30 - Afternoon Baking & Bake Off Q&A with Ugne Bubnaityte

Keen to improve your quarantine bakes? Known for breaking boundaries and creating healthier treats, Bake Off alumni Ugne Bubnaityte is here to share her top tips and answer your burning GBBO questions.

14:00 - Drawing Class with Rob Pepper

Hone your artistic flair with Rob Pepper, Principal of Art Academy London. He'll be covering the basics during this live drawing class - all you'll need is a pencil, some paper and your imagination!

15:00 - Family Dance Class with Lucy Hind

19:30 - Have a Laugh with Jack Carroll

Looking for a good laugh? Comedian Jack Carroll has had audiences in stitches ever since his first audition on Britain’s Got Talent stage in 2013 - now it’s your turn to be entertained. He'll also be sharing his top tips for getting into comedy.

20:00 - Shaking It Up with Scottish Mixologist

Calling all cocktail connoisseurs - get your shakers at the ready as self-taught mixologist Jack Jamieson teaches you how to make your favourite alcoholic and non-alcoholic tipples from home.

20:00 - A Silly Show with Josie Long
