Hold a get together at work

Holding a get together in the workplace is a great opportunity for employees to get to know eachother better, and share good company in a relaxed environment! Happiness improves productivity too… So, what are you waiting for?

Your workplace get together could be themed - everyone could bring a dish from around the world for an awesome team lunch get together, or perhaps you could pick something more activity based and get into teams for an ‘Office Olympics’ - or your get together could be a more laid back affair - simply set a time to all take a break from work to sit down and share a cup of tea and a conversation with your coworkers.

Follow this step by step guide to make your get together great, and make sure you’ve signed up for a free pack filled with even more tips, help, recipes and more!

First Steps:

Decide when and where

The Great Get Together is the weekend of the 16-18 June, so choose the day and time that would work best for you. You could take over a meeting room, get the whole team outside for a picnic… Your get together can be as big or as small as you like!

Invite your colleagues

Invite your colleagues, you could even extend the invite to other companies that share your building! Whoever you choose to invite, we have put together a whole bunch of resources to help you including posters and invitations! Next Steps:

Plan the details

Once you know what kind of get together you are going to host it’s time to get planning. Get your colleagues involved - planning the get together can be a team building exercise in itself! Are you are going to play games or host activities? Will food be a factor?
