The Great Get Together wants the specific issues young people face regarding loneliness and social isolation to be heard and talked about.

As part of our summer 2021 campaign, we will provide a full resource pack for a primary school assembly to facilitate conversations with young people about loneliness and building connection.

The assembly will be co-produced for the Great Get Together by the Jo Cox Foundation & Naz Legacy Foundation and has been endorsed by Matt Hancock MP, Secretary of State for Health, and Ed Davey MP, Leader of the Liberal Democrats and the Minister for Loneliness Baroness Barran.

We recommend having your school assembly on June 18th as that date coincides with Loneliness Awareness Week and the Great Get Together. However, you are free to use the resources whenever suits you and your class.

Please provide your school contact information below to be sent the digital assembly pack week commencing the 14th June.

Would you like to receive an assembly resource pack for primary, secondary or both?
