School Assembly on Youth Loneliness (date TBC)
The Great Winter Get Together wants the specific issues young people face regarding loneliness and social isolation to be heard and addressed by those in power to influence real change.
The live virtual school assembly is open to all secondary schools. It will be scheduled when schools have fully returned in early 2021. It will be run by The Jo Cox Foundation and The Naz Legacy Foundation and will facilitate open, constructive, and collaborative discussions between young people, their ideas and the government. A pre-recorded video assembly for primary schools will be available as well.
In conversation with UK Minister of Loneliness Baroness Barran
With cross-party support from political leaders
Moderated by UK Youth Head of Engagement and Advocacy Anna Alcock
Hosted by the Jo Cox Foundation & Naz Legacy Foundation
