The Great Get Together, an initiative of the Jo Cox Foundation, in partnership with The Naz Legacy Foundation, is providing an assembly for schools addressing youth loneliness. The assembly pack will encourage young people to speak about loneliness and their experiences of loneliness.

The aim of the event is to put loneliness back on the agenda at schools and to ensure young people feel encouraged and enabled to discuss loneliness and social isolation.

The school assembly packs will be available for all schools. The assembly pack will suggest the assembly takes place on the last day of Loneliness Awareness Week and the first day of the Great Get Together: June 18th, 2021.

The full pack of assembly resources will be released the week commencing June 14th.

With support and key messages from cross-party political leaders and mental health influencers.
