Up and down the country people are connecting their communities through The Great Get Together and we would love for you to join us.
Whether you want to start something in your community, workplace or school we’ve got tools, tips and resources to help you.
We know that when people get together, they can put aside their differences and celebrate having #moreincommon.
Every single person has the power to bring people together and change their community. If you want to see your street, building or neighbourhood become more connected, join us!
We have custom guides for organising street parties, sports days, BBQs, picnics, coffee mornings, as well as downloadable posters, invitations, stickers recipes and more to help you throw a GREAT Get Together.
Schools are so often one the most important centres of our communities as children from all backgrounds meet, play and learn together. Holding an assembly or lesson on the importance of community is a hugely powerful way of promoting a hopeful message about on diversity.
Our resources for schools are produced in collaboration with the PSHE Association, The Linking Network and the Youth Sport Trust. They include a video on The Great Get Together, a Teacher Guidance document on how the topic fits into the PSHE curriculum and ideas for sporting activities to bring pupils together.
As a business, organisation, club or group you have already brought people together for a common purpose. By being part of The Great Get Together you can celebrate the positivity you have already achieved in creating, or take it even further and reach out to members of your community you might not usually connect with.
We’ve got custom guides for businesses, charities, community organisations, faith groups, government organisations and sports clubs.
What difference do we make?
By getting involved in The Great Get Together you’ll be making a huge difference to your community and the people in it.
